Ride files are combined, sort of????
Maybe I was expecting the wrong thing, but I had through my combined rides would appear in Strava just the way the uncombined rides (and every other ride appears. That doesn't seem to be case and so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. The ride appears as a "Group Activity". A map showing the combined ride is shown, but below that are two ride titles, milage, time, elevation, etc. The upper ride data is the combined data and the lower ride data is just the data from the earlier of the two segments I was trying to combine. It's kind of confusing. Is that right?

My guess for the reason you are seeing two posts is that you probably uploaded the un merged activity before you uploaded the merged activity. Depending on how you have your device set up, it may auto upload your original activity. My tool doesn’t delete any of your activities from Strava - so once you have successfully merged files, it is up to you to delete the partial files.
