I get a lot of questions about training peaks not working. I'm not sure why training peaks refuses to accept files that every other platform accepts, but I have actually written in quite a few work-arounds for Training Peaks over the years. If your issues are not resolved in this FAQ, please contact me.
If you get this message, or a "duplicate activity" message from Strava, please make sure that you selected the "Randomize ID tag" option on page 2 when you're creating your final track on my website.Nice program. I was able to use this to splice two workouts together and upload to Garmin Connect. However, Training Peaks gives an error "Attempt to upload a file with multiple workouts".
Try exporting from my tool as FIT instead of TCX. It seems that near the end of 2020, Training Peaks has a coding issue that doesn't accept certain TCX files. We contacted them, and they reported that "Decimals are not allowed in TCX files". That can't be the issue, of course, because your latitude / longitude always have decimals in them! Until TP works this out, please consider exporting in the FIT format.I have previously been able to use your tools to convert Peloton data (downloaded from Strava) so that it was able to uploaded to Training Peaks -- it worked fine for my last Peloton ride, but was later unsuccessful. Message is: Error uploading to Training Peaks said "Unable to parse file". Any assistance or guidance would be much appreciated! Thank you!
