Hi, I merged files previously but did not have this issue as far as I can recall: Achievements are showing like if it was a new ride after merge eg. was a PR (on original rides) then becomes 2nd best
Exported 2 GPX from Strava activities. Deleted activities on Strava. Did merge with tool (without selecting Randomize), exported GPX, then imported back in Strava manually. Any reason and fix? Thanks in advance

This is a Strava issue, and unfortunately, I cannot control it with the tool. From what I can guess:

Strava maintains a database of your achievements. To minimize server usage / bandwidth, those achievements are not updated on a second-by-second basis. I'm not sure how often they update the personal achievement list, but I have a feeling it is several minutes or even hours or days.

In essence, Strava is retaining the achievement status from your activity - the one you uploaded first - and then applying it to subsequently uploaded activities.

Possible solutions:
1) Try and only upload one activity rather than upload and then re-upload the same activity. Strava didn't really design their website to have the same activity uploaded twice. That is why I have had to implement a work-around to try and "trick" Strava into uploading the same activity a second time.

2) Click on the three dots on any activity page, and then select "Refresh Activity Achievements."

3) If #1 or #2 above don't work, wait until the next day and see if it is resolved. If not, repeat step #2.

That's the best I have to offer for now.
