A Double Century from Morgan Hill to San Luis Obispo
Here is your opportunity to become a part of a group of cyclists that will ride their bikes 200 miles in one day. The route follows the scening Highway 25 corridor from Gilroy to Mission San Miguel.
The course has been designed to avoid busy roads whenever possible, however there is a necessary, stretch of highway 101 near the end when entering San Luis Obispo over Cuesta Grade. This stretch of highway is legal, as there are no alternative routes for bicycles.
History
This is our second year of organizing this ride. Last year's ride was a great success, thanks to a great group, and wonderful support / sag.
Your double century signup includes the following:
- Typical Ride Food
- Sag support (one vehicle)
- Cue sheet and instructions
- Return Transportation (must be prearrangd)

Departure Date:
The Bishop's Double Century starts here on July 11, 2009 at 6:00 AM Wheels Rolling. Parking $10.00.
Schedule:
The course has been designed so that trained riders can complete riding before dark. The windows for the rest stops are designed so that a single vehicle can support the entire group of riders. If you are falling behind schedule, you will be encouraged to sag to the next rest stop. At your option, you may elect to complete the ride on our own schedule (after dark) but by doing this, you would be foregoing sag and food support.
